Bio

Hello! My name is Sumayah Baloch and I am a sophomore at Wilson. I am majoring in polymer and color chemistry with a concentration in medical sciences and a minor in biological sciences. I was born in Virginia but grew up here in Raleigh, North Carolina. One interesting fact about me is that I love video games but I always end up starting new ones before finishing whatever I was already playing.

Why Wilson?

I chose to attend Wilson because of how the college supported its students. There were lots of opportunities for internships and research and the small class sizes would allow me to develop deeper relationships with my professors and peers. I also chose Wilson because I was already interested in chemistry and wanted to learn more about how it was applicable to textiles.
