Hi, my name is Humairaa Zafiruddin. I’m currently a junior majoring in polymer and color chemistry with a concentration of medical science. I’m a Raleigh, North Carolina, native. A fun fact about me is that I love playing with children.

Why Wilson?

I started considering  Wilson College of Textiles because a friend of mine recommended I apply. I liked that Wilson College of textiles had degree options with expansive post graduate options. I  liked how I have the flexibility to choose between going into the workforce or going to graduate school. I also liked Wilson because the class sizes are fairly small and therefore allows for more individual interaction with peers and faculty. Due to the smaller nature of the college I find myself presented with opportunities that help become a competitive student and applicant for opportunities that lie outside of the college.
