Hi, my name is Humairaa Zafiruddin, and I’m majoring in polymer and color chemistry with a concentration of medical science. I’m a Raleigh, NC native. A fun fact about me is that I am passionate about working with young students.

Why Wilson?

I started considering  Wilson College of Textiles because a friend of mine recommended I apply. I love that Wilson College of textiles has degree options with expansive post graduate options. I like having the flexibility to choose between going directly into the workforce or attending graduate school. A huge benefit of Wilson are the class sizes, they are fairly small which allows for more individual interaction with peers and faculty. Due to the smaller nature of the college I find myself presented with opportunities that help become a competitive student and applicant for opportunities that lie beyond the college.
